Susan Whitlock Health, Community Centre, Affordable Housing.
I have lived in the village for twenty six years and my three daughters attended the local school. Having moved from London when my children were small it was quite a culture shock to move to a village. It did not take long, though, for village life to prove extremely busy and I became drawn into many activities mainly involving my children but also as a teacher for the local branch of the Nation Childbirth Trust. Now that my children are grown up I continue to enjoy my involvement with the village and am especially interested in the new Community Centre, having become a Trustee. An ongoing project as part of my work for the Parish Council is to press for the provision of affordable housing in the village to remain in perpetuity for local people.
