“Information Gathering” events on the future of Milford’s hospital
Two drop-in information gathering events are being held in Milford, to help you have your say on the future of Milford-on-Sea’s War Memorial Hospital. The events are:
- Tuesday 31st October – 1pm-6pm at The Community Centre, Sea Road.
- Wednesday 8th November – 6pm – 8pm at All Saints Church Hall, Greenbanks Drive.
NHS West Hampshire Clinical Commissioning Group would like to hear the views of local people on the future use of Milford-on-Sea’s War Memorial Hospital for health and wellbeing services. The Group say the hospital is “an old building and clinical rooms and facilities do not meet modern standards for healthcare”.
The Group is “reviewing what is currently provided at the hospital and would like to know what services you use at Milford-on-Sea War Memorial Hospital. Keeping in mind that Lymington New Forest Hospital is only 5 miles away, we would also like to know what health and wellbeing services are important to you in the future which could be provided locally to meet the needs of the local community.”
The closing date for the online survey is 31st October and can be completed by clicking here. Also for more information from the NHS’ website.
